Training ProgrammesDriving sustainability by informing innovative leaders
In MFA we believe, based on the past 20 years of working with different organisations, that capability needs vary depending on the role the person plays within the organisation. With this in mind we have developed a range of training programmes in Sustainability, targeted at satisfying the differing needs of various groups within organisations, to stretch the company vision from “current practice to best practice” Executive Sustainability Session ½ day workshop to help align the understanding of sustainability as it applies to organisations and to define the process of implementation. We will: Before partaking in this programme the participants will be facilitated to complete a Sustainability Organisation Audit. This assessment will enable participants to identify to what extent current activities can be changed to make contribute to the competitiveness of the organisation. The results will be correlated by the programme tutor, prior to the programme, to focus aspects of the programme to ensure individual participants receive targeted inputs. The output from the programme will be a Strategic Green Action Plan for each organisation. The tutor will visit each participant for half a day in their organisation to conduct in-company mentoring to reinforce the Strategic Green Action Plan to enhance the implementation of a sustainable strategy. This 2 day activity based programme focuses on giving people the skills, knowledge and attitudes for more flexible thinking and creative techniques to search for sustainable improvements that yield parallel economic benefits. It will stimulate innovation and creativity in the search for new ways of doing things not only within the within the organisation’s existing boundaries but will examine both the upstream and downstream activities. The format is flexible - programmes are often customised to address the unique issues facing cross-functional teams, divisions, function or business units, or groups of individuals from different organizations. Case Studies are used to illustrate fundamental theories and applications. The programme is conducted on two separate days to facilitate participants implement learning within their organisations, with feedback from tutors, after day one. The second day focuses on more in-depth modules to prepare participants to develop and implement an organisation wide eco efficiency improvement programme.
