PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

The practice of management is difficult, demanding and unique. But in today climate the overriding objective for management is the review of  productivity in all aspects of the business in order to improve competitivness.

5. Prioritise and Commit to identified Future Projects.
6. Plan the Implementation.
7. Faciliate implementation.

5S

5S (sort, simplify, sweep, standardise, sustain) is a way of organising a workspace to improve efficiency through reduced waste and improved flow.  MFA will train and faciliate company "champions" to develop a company specific 5S programme  to establish the foundations of a Lean Enterprise.

Lean Audit

A Lean Audit will benchmark your organisation’s current status against world class standards and identify the the change process that is needed to omplement and progress on the road to Lean.

Mistake Proofing (Poka Yoke)

Mistake Proofing, or Poka Yoke in Japanese, is a process to prevent errors from occurring.  Techniques of Poka Yoke may involve process, equipment, or tool design to establish procedures,systems to ensure that  operations literally cannot be performed incorrectly.

Kaizen

Kaizen involves setting standards and then continually improving those standards. The process involves staff at all levels setting and implementing task related standards which set benchmarks for future improvements. To support the Kaizen system MFA  provides the training, materials and sfaciliation that is needed for employees to achieve the higher standards and maintain their ability to meet those standards on an on-going basis.
